Welcome to Bilty. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Bilty Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Bilty", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the Bilty website (bilty.software), the Bilty progressive web app, the Bilty mobile applications (Android, iOS) and the Bilty desktop applications (Windows, macOS) — collectively, the "Service".
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service in any way you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that the information you provide during sign-up — including company name, GSTIN, PAN and contact details — is true and accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password and any API credentials configured inside the App Configuration → API tab (including GSP, WhatsApp Cloud, Razorpay, Wheels Eye and SMS provider keys). You agree to notify us immediately at security@bilty.software of any unauthorised use of your account.
Bilty implements industry-standard safeguards including bcrypt password hashing, AES-256 encryption of credentials at rest, CSRF protection and HTTPS-only transport, but no system is impenetrable. You agree that we are not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to safeguard your own credentials.
The Service is offered under a free tier and several paid subscription plans displayed on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed annually in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of any applicable taxes (GST 18%) unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds: we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first paid subscription term. After the 14th day, fees paid are non-refundable. We will however prorate credit if we materially fail to deliver the Service.
Add-ons: Extra Admins, Extra Branches, Extra Storage, SMS Credits, WhatsApp Alerts, Priority Support and API Access are optional add-ons billed in addition to the base plan. Discontinuing an add-on takes effect at the next billing cycle.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during the subscription term, subject to these Terms.
You own your data. All bilties, invoices, ledger entries, master records, attachments and any other content you upload or generate while using the Service ("Customer Data") remain your property. We claim no ownership rights over Customer Data.
You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, process and back up Customer Data solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We will not sell Customer Data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train any general-purpose AI model.
You may export Customer Data at any time as Excel, JSON or Tally XML through the Admin → Export Data screen. On termination we will retain your data for 30 days during which you can export it; after that we will permanently delete it from active systems within 90 days.

The Service integrates with several third-party providers — including Goods & Services Tax Network (GSTN) Suvidha Providers (Cygnet, ClearTax, Webtel, Karvy and others), Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, Razorpay, Wheels Eye GPS, SMS gateways (MSG91, Twilio, TextLocal) and others. Use of these integrations is subject to the respective provider's own terms.
The Service, including all software, designs, logos, brand elements and documentation, is and remains the exclusive property of Bilty Technologies Pvt Ltd and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title or interest in the Service except for the limited use license described above.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if (a) you breach these Terms, (b) you fail to pay any amounts due, (c) we suspect fraudulent or illegal activity, or (d) we are required to do so by law. You may terminate at any time from your Account Settings or by contacting support@bilty.software.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Bilty disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bilty's aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. In no event shall Bilty be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bilty, its directors, officers, employees and contractors against any third-party claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or regulation, (c) your infringement of any third-party right, or (d) the accuracy of any data submitted to government portals on your behalf.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Mumbai, Maharashtra], and the parties hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
